These images that we’re carrying are courtesy a Team-Bhpian, who happened to snap up these images from a Hyundai dealership in Pune. As far as the looks go, Hyundai seems to have a winner in the form of the Eon, whose Fluidic design inspired exteriors are a right mixture of sharp angular lines and curves, a design that will appeal to the young and the old alike. The Maruti Alto, the Hyundai Eon’s main competitor, in comparison looks quite ancient. The Eon’s interiors, in terms of both quality and design too are a big step up from the rest of the cars in the Indian entry level small car segment.

The Eon will feature a three pot, 814cc petrol engine good for a peak power rating of 55 Bhp and a peak torque rating of 76.5 Nm. This engine will also deliver better mileage than the competition(read the Maruti Alto and the Chevrolet Spark), as Hyundai claims an ARAI certified fuel economy number of 21.1 Kmpl.
